The San Francisco Museum of Craft+Design offers a variety of special programming for our members and the general public. Panel discussions, lectures, special events, children’s programs, docent tours, and special group tours are offered concurrently with our exhibitions.

MakeArt Children's Workshops
Site-Specific Sculpture
Bring your children to explore their creativity in this fun MakeArt program, where they can create their own installation-inspired sculpture. Participants will add to one of the installations, making this an especially site-specific experience! The workshop starts with a family tour of the exhibition FourSite: 4 Artists | 4 Materials | 4 Sites, followed by a hands-on art workshop where children can design and create their own piece to take home. This workshop is for ages 5 to 12, and parents/caregivers are welcome to join us for the tour.
