Without Camouflage artist Dafna Kaffeman visits the museum to demonstrate and teach the embroidered text technique behind her most recent multipart, minimalistic environments. With headlines and imagery pulled directly from Middle Eastern media, Dafna will share how her work explores the personal experiences and perspective of an Israeli woman interpreting political and social issues of that region.
Participants will create and take home their own pieces made in Kaffeman’s unique style.
