MAKE x CCA

September 19, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

On the third Thursday of each month, stay out late with MCD and collaborate with artists and makers, explore unique themes and re-think materials through creative design projects.

This September, design your night with MAKE x CCA!

Help MCD welcome California College of the Arts graduate students back to school at the American Industrial Center. Come early for a free drink and to hear the inside scoop about Dead Nuts from MCD guest curator and CCA adjunct professor David Cole during the Curator Happy Hour.

Then, swing by the MakeArt Lab to contribute to a blueprint for a speculative machine with CCA alums, Berg., play with the boundaries of water-based abstract landscapes with grad student Kate Smart and design custom “Symbol Unity” vinyl stickers with CCA studio manager Laurus Myth.

PLUS enjoy more self-led exhibition interpretations, view works by metal & jewelry MFA Yuxuan Li, tour the CCA facilities and get information about the programs offered.
