MakeArt Family Day

April 2 @ 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Museum of Craft and Design

Celebrate the return of MCD’s MakeArt Family Day! Join us at the museum for hands-on projects and activities inspired by our current exhibition The Object in Its Place: As Designed by Ted Cohen.

Visitors can go on a scavenger hunt through the exhibition with our new MakeArt Gallery Games, try their hand at Ted Cohen’s enduring old-school design process, or get playful with collaborative collections layout! There is something for everyone during MakeArt Family day. Little ones can snuggle up in the Storytime Lounge and tinker with magnetic architecture. Also, don’t forget to look for the MakeArt van out front of the museum and pick up your FREE MakeArt kit to take home! Craft your day with the whole family at MCD. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

MakeArt Family Day is free with museum admission.
Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or at the door on the day of the event.
