MCD Make @ SF Design Week
June 20 @ 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
On the third Thursday of each month, collaborate with artists and makers, explore unique themes and re-think materials through creative design projects. In June, MAKE is celebrating MCD’s unique history as a pop-up museum–catch us offsite as one of the exhibitors of SF Design Week’s Design Hub at Pier 27!
This party on the waterfront is all about experiencing a designer’s life through interactive exhibits, installations, and talks. Enjoy music, food trucks by Off the Grid, and beer by Fort Point Brewery. Highlights include the 2019 Design Awards, Stanford’s D School, and artist installations featuring Marpi and Britelite and more!
Swing by the MAKE installation to explore 15 years of Museum of Craft and Design, including several hands-on interactives designed around the current exhibitions, Material Domestication and Wanxin Zhang: The Long Journey.
Cash bar and scrumptious bites from Off the Grid will be available for purchase.
Get your tickets early!— prices will increase closer to event night.
Opening Night is a fundraiser for San Francisco Design Week. All ticket proceeds go directly supporting its continued efforts to create community through timely, relevant and impactful design programming in the San Francisco Bay Area.
