An internationally acclaimed weaver, Lia Cook combines weaving, painting, photography, and digital technology to pioneer new modes of craft. Designed to experiment with emotive responses in the viewer, Cook’s work is at the crossroads of craft, art, science, and technology. Join MCD for a look at Lia Cook’s revolutionary fiber arts career and influence. From tenure at CCA to the body of work in Lines That Tie, learn more about her process that continues to exist on the innovative edge between tech and tradition.
