Tour of Recology: A World Without Waste

Join us Wednesday, November 16th and take a tour of the Recology San Francisco Artist in Residence Program. Since 1990, this program has supported more than one hundred professional and student artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The tour will include an overview of the company and recycling operations in San Francisco and a visit to the art studios and sculpture garden. We’ll see the work and studios of current MCD artist Anja Uldfelt, social practice artist Ramekon O’Arwisters and Chinese Canadian artist Jinmei Chi. Don’t miss this free member tour! Since its founding in 1990, the Recology San Francisco Artist in Residence Program has supported more than one hundred professional and student artists in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has been the subject of national and international press. Each year more than 5,000 children and adults visit exhibitions and attend educational tours that allow the public to interact with artists, while also learning important lessons about recycling and reuse.
