Guest curator Glenn Adamson leads an opening day exhibition walk-through of Raw Design and Judy Kensley McKie: Cast of Characters.
Join Glenn and exhibition artist Zoë Sheehan Saldaña to learn more about how “Raw Design” illustrates an interesting moment in the history of technique, where designers seem to prefer inventing new processes around traditional mediums.
MCD Assistant Curator Ariel Zaccheo will also contribute to the conversation surrounding the work of beloved designer and furniture maker Judy Kensley McKie and the creative collaboration she has shared with Artworks Foundry in Berkeley.
