Plushy Pom Poms at Downtown First Thursdays with Into the Streets
March 6 @ 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Downtown First Thursdays are large-scale monthly programs committed to building SF’s downtown community through free programs and performances. The Museum of Craft and Design is excited to support Into The Streets, the organization behind the magic, by doing what we do best: making creativity more accessible through hands-on, exhibition-inspired crafting.
Inspired by our current exhibition RugLife, this plush plushy pom pom project explores classic woven rug embellishments. Create a pom pom garland to bring a RugLife aesthetic into your own home, earrings to make a fiber-forward fashion statement, or a pom pom keychain and never lose your keys again!
Plus, pick up a free MakeArt Kit to keep the creativity going and a free admission ticket to check out RugLife for yourself!
