Learn about and prepare your pockets for the gifting economy of the Playa! Former Burning Man arts curator and co-creator of “Jewelry of Burning Man,” Christine Kristen gives participants an overview of the whimsical ritual of jewelry gifting in Black Rock City. Purchase a signed copy of her book and enjoy a hands-on jewelry making workshop with Donna Eck, aka “The Playa Fairy!”

Participants will use vintage dominos, photos, UV epoxy, glitter and other ephemera to design and create their own tokens of giving. All materials will be provided, though feel free to bring any small items or photos you want to incorporate.
