The Museum of Craft and Design is crafting an exceptional experience for our members in Palm Springs. 

We are inviting our members at the Sustainer level and up to join us for a tour of Glass for the New Millennium: Masterworks from the Kaplan-Ostergaard Collection at the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert, The Galen, led by the collectors themselves, David Kaplan and Glenn Ostergaard. This exhibition beautifully showcases a respect and appreciation for the history of glass while fully recognizing the growth, innovation and excitement of contemporary artists’ work.

After the museum and lunch, we’ll have the unique opportunity to visit David Kaplan’s and Glenn Ostergaard’s home in Rancho Mirage to see more contemporary glass and an impressive collection of Bay Area figurative art.

Attendees will also receive FIRST LOOK VIP passes to attend the Art Palm Springs opening night preview on Thursday the 16th from 6pm-10pm.

Given the nature of this event, space is limited to 12 attendees. Tickets include admission to the Palm Desert Museum, lunch on the 15th, private tour of the Kaplan-Ostergaard home and FIRST LOOK VIP passes to the Art Palm Springs.
