Mobile MakeArt: LightHouse for the Blind
February 1 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Museum of Craft and Design partners with the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired to facilitate monthly art projects reflective of MCD’s current exhibitions.
Get crafty while you hydrate! Play with negative space, textural juxtaposition, and etching cream to create your own Etched Glass Bottle. PLUS contribute your tactile observations to Robot Light Motif – a haptic artwork created by Rae Lanzerotti by and in conversation with MCD’s upcoming exhibition, Mr. Roboto!
This program is designed specially for the blind and visually impaired community. We welcome you to the LightHouse even if you are not currently involved with the organization. Please reach out to MCD Programs Manager Marie Deininger or LightHouse Adult Programs Coordinator Maia Scott for more information.
