MakeArt Family Day

MakeArt Family Day welcomes visitors of all ages to experience a variety of exhibition-related activities! This May, dive into an olfactory exploration of Living with Scents.
The Ministry of Scent brings their famous Fragrance Bar to the galleries, where you can discover your favorite combination of top, heart, and base notes. Get creative with silly synesthesia, create a fragrant May flower crown, and design a desktop diffuser to keep your room smelling fresh!
Visitors can also go on a scavenger hunt through the exhibition with MakeArt Gallery Games, tinker with magnetic architecture, and view a screening of the recent virtual Speaker Series with exhibition-featured scientists and designers!
All ages welcome– craft your day with the whole family at MCD!

Pre-registration is encouraged. All activities are free with admission:
$10 for general admission, $8 for students/seniors, and children 12 and under are free. MCD Members are always free!
