Join us on the Museum of Craft and Design’s next member excursion to Detroit and Cranbrook–the epicenter of the American modernist movement. Experience world-class private collections, visit galleries, artist studios and take behind-the-scenes tours. We will travel just north to the Cranbrook Academy of Art, deemed by the New York Times as the “American Bauhaus”. Led by architect and alumni, Thomas Soper, AIA, walk the impressive campus that attracted some of the greatest minds of 20th-century Modernism, including Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Ray and Charles Eames. We will stay for five nights at the fashionable Siren Hotel in downtown Detroit. Check out the itinerary here!
Don’t miss this special domestic trip for members at the Insider level ($250) and above.
