MCD will bring Smithsonian’s theme of ‘Experience America’ to life! Visitors will dive deeply into the work of Creativity Explored – observing artists’ processes and following in the footsteps of artist Katherine Finn-Gamino by picking up a co-authored MakeArt Kit. An interactive map of disability activism organizations throughout the US expands the conversation beyond California and sheds light on the incredible work of disabled artists throughout the country.
