Saunter through Stonestown Farmers Market stalls and swing by MCD’s Mobile MakeArt van to create your own stained glass shrinky dink! Inspired by our current exhibition, Judith Schaechter: Super / Natural, this project is an MCD favorite designed to explore Schaechter’s approach across mediums.

A stained glass artist unlike any other, Schaechter engraves on layers of colorful flash glass, leveraging the resulting negative spaces to create incredibly detailed imagery in a rich range of colors.

Design both of your shrinky dink in conversation with one another to echo Schaechter’s multiple stacked flash glass pieces effect.
