Please join us for this month’s MakeArt Family Day! Its autumn and MCD is celebrating the changing of the seasons with a number of exhibition related activities inspired by Anchors in Time: Dominic DiMare. Visitors will explore thematic concepts and the use of natural materials in the art-making process. From homemade paper to fly fishing lure design and watercolor play, the MakeArt Lab and galleries will be filled with hands-on projects harkening to the sea-borne aesthetic of Dominic DiMare.

Please join us for this month’s MakeArt Family Day! Join olfactory artist Emily Endo for an immersive Living with Scents workshop exploring MCD’s Dogpatch neighborhood! This full-day intensive class will guide students through introductory perfume construction techniques, fragrance material families, and explore how to capture the scent of materials through tinctures. Participants will leave with their own Dogpatch inspired fragrance, sample blends, and a personalized tincture made in class.

Bull.Miletic returns to MCD for final thoughts on “Proxistant Vision.” Joined in conversation with writer and curator Glen Helfand, the artists will follow up their opening day exhibition walk-through to discuss the culmination of this innovative, art and technology research project– exploring the impact of new aerial imaging technologies and their influence and power in everyday life.
